This is the examination which certifies the knowledge of the Spanish Constitution and the Spanish sociocultural reality. It is one of the requirements in the process of obtaining the Spanish nationality.

CCSE consists of 25 questions with only one correct answer, so it is assessed automatically. Each correct answer gets 1 mark and each wrong answer gets a 0 mark and they are not penalized. In order to pass the exam (and obtain a PASS grade) it is necessary to answer correctly 15 of the 25 questions, which means a 60% of them.
