Spanish Intensive Courses

  • The minimum age to enroll: 18 (16 with written parental consent).
  • The maximum number of students per class is 15.
  • The levels/courses available at any given time are subject to a minimum number of students per group.
  • Weekly incorporation (not for A1) (see online form).
  • Attendance is required to obtain a Diploma/ Attendance Certificate.
  • Classes that fall on national & local holidays will not be recuperate

Cancellation and Refund Policies

  • Any cancellation request must be submitted in writing.
    • A 100% refund is given up to 30 days before the start of the first course of the contracted period (less €150 for administration fee) .
    • A 50% refund is given up to 7 days before the start of the first course of the contracted period.
    • The registration fee cannot be refunded if a cancellation is received after the deadlines established above.
  • Change or transfer of registration will incur a fee of €60 for administration fee.
  • Enrolments are personal and non-transferable.
  • Students who have requested a registration in a Spanish Course in order to obtain a visa may only request a refund in accordance with the regulations they hace signed in the General Terms and Conditions for Requesting Documents to obtain a Visa.

CANCELLATION BY THE STUDENT ON GROUNDS OF FORCE MAJEURE

As a general rule, cancelling a course’s registration, cancelling an activity’s registration, or cancelling the accommodation application will not imply being reimbursed of the amounts paid. Only due to decease or severe illness or accident will students be entitled to the reimbursement of the proportional part of the service which they will not be provided for.

CANCELLATION BY THE CENTRE ON GROUNDS OF FORCE MAJEURE

If the Language Centre cancels a service, students will be informed as far in advance as possible and the complete amounts paid will be reimbursed to them through the same form of payment used.

INFORMATION ON THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with current legislation (General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users and LSSI), the interested party has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without providing any justification. The period is counted from the day the contract is signed. To exercise this right, the decision must be notified by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. as soon as possible. Once the notice has been received, the total amount paid will be refunded as soon as possible after receipt of the notification. The only exception where the full amount will not be refunded will be if the contracted services have been provided.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal (Article 103):

The supply of accommodation services for purposes other than serving as housing, transport of goods, vehicle rental, food, or services related to leisure activities, if the contracts provide for a specific date or period of performance.

Course Expulsion Protocol

In order to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment, the following behaviours may constitute grounds for expulsion:

  • Disrespectful behaviour towards teaching staff or fellow students.
  • Attendance in class under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Behaviour that seriously disrupts the normal development of classes.
  • Repeated failure to comply with the centre’s internal regulations.
  • Conduct that endangers the safety or well-being of others.

Any incident will be reported to the Academic Coordinator and the Centre Management, who may apply preliminary measures (such as warnings or temporary suspension) or proceed directly with expulsion, following written notification to the student.

Expulsion will entail the loss of the right to attend classes from the specified date. A proportional refund of tuition fees will only be considered in cases where enrolment in the course is not linked to the granting of a visa.
